Three of the four Exeter-Milligan athletes at the state track meet brought home hardware from competition May 19 and 20.
Savana Krupicka jumped to fourth place in the triple jump at 34-8.75.
“Savana Krupicka performed near her season and career best to earn a medal in the triple jump,” Coach Brian Murphy said.
Her brother Marcus competed well in both his events. While he didn’t match his district throw in the shot put, hitting a 44-8 effort, he cleared 12-6 in the pole vault and placed seventh.
“He did clean up his form greatly in the pole vault during the week. It showed on Saturday, when he upped his PR in the event,” Murphy said.
Jozie Kanode closed out her EM track career with her third medal in the pole vault. She went 9-0 and placed eighth.
“She would have liked to have gone higher, but it was a little cooler on Friday morning,” Murphy said.
Tyler Due cleared 11-6 in the pole vault.
“Tyler Due was slightly off in the pole vault, finishing a height lower than he has typically been this season,” Murphy said.
