A complete set of the proceedings is on file in the Board of Equalizations’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and on our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Equalization opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, by Vice Chairperson Stephanie A. Krivohlavek. Present were Krivohlavek, Marvin A. Kohout, Janet J. Henning, and Russ Karpisek Commissioners and County Clerk Anita K. Bartels. Commissioner Phil Hardenburger was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office and published in all three county newspapers on April 5, 2023, in compliance with State Statutes. Krivohlavek advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room and that all proceedings are electronically recorded; Approved the agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the March 28, 2023 meeting as presented; Under Correspondence, received from the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission an order for a hearing on June 14, 2023 for Case No. 22C 0024, Appellant Mary B. Moser. Approved a 2023 Permissive Exemption Application for Congregational Church at Friend City, R.S. Bentley’s Addition Lots 30-31stating the property is going to be used for church parking. Denied a 2023 Permissive Exemption Application for Ministerio Cristiano Pentecostes at Crete City, Farrington Acres Addition Lot 2 Blk 1, 2.46 acres. This property is a vacant lot with no information supplied regarding the use of the property. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-12, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $269.80. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-13, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $418.38. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-14, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $380.26. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-15, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $742.08. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-16, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $281.00. Approved Tax List Correction 2023-17, PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., a reduction of $77.52.
