Reviewed the results of the public meetings held in Milligan, Exeter and Friend. The petition was reviewed, and amended some of the wording relating to the Milligan site. 8.1.2. Policy Committee Committee met 4-3-24. Reviewed Student Policies, and forwarded those policies for approval at this meeting. 8.2. Administration 8.2.1. Principal's Report Mrs. Stutzman reviewed the events of the past month. 8.2.2. Superintendent Mr. Anderson reported on strategic plan updates. Open staff positions were reviewed. 9. Discussion Items Tyler Bartels, Nancy Vossler, Tiffany Shonerd and Megan Weber all commented on the process leading us to the consolidation vote. 10. Action Items 10.1. Approval of the board-to-board petition to form a new school district with Exeter-Milligan Move that the Friend Board of Education approve the board-to-board petition, a copy of which is attached to this motion, to dissolve both the Friend School District (Saline County School District 76-0068) and the Exeter-Milligan Public School District (Fillmore County School District 30-0001) and to form a new district. Upon approval, the petition shall be submitted to the State Committee for Reorganization of School Districts (State Committee) for consideration.
