A complete set of the proceedings along with an approved list of claims is on file in the Board of Commissioners’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and on our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Commissioners was called to order at 9:31 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, by Chairperson Phil Hardenburger. Present were Hardenburger, Russ Karpisek, Stephanie Krivohlavek and Janet J. Henning Commissioners, County Clerk Diann Nettifee. Commissioners Marvin A. Kohout and County Attorney David C. Solheim were absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s Office and published in all three county newspapers on July 19, 2023, in compliance with State Statutes; Hardenburger advised those present of the open meetings act at the back of the room and that all proceedings are electronically recorded; Approved the minutes of the June 20, 2023 regular meeting; Approved the minutes of the July 11, 2023 emergency meeting Correspondence, Letter from Public Health Solutions outlining 2022 activity and request for funding. Under Report of Officials, heard reports concerning Tax Protests, Insurance Meetings, Western Picnic for SCAT, County Fair, Aging Services, Wellness meeting, Planning & Zoning meeting. 9:45 a.m. Shari Wurtz-Miller, CEO, Blue Valley Community Action: Discussed program impact for 2022 and request for funds 10:00 a.m. Approved consultant agreement with Benefit Management 10:20 a.m. Recess 10:31 a.m. Meeting reconvened 10:30a.m. Approved minor sub-division at E ¼ of SE ¼ section 7-6-1E for Alan Skrivanek Approved surplus items for Saline County Extension Office Approved annual inventories of County Personal Property Approved Resolution 2023-40 transferring $2500 from Inheritance Fund to Grant Fund Approved Resolution 2023-41 transferring $1500 from Inheritance Fund to Juvenile Services Aid Program Fund Open Sealed Bids for Activity Room Addition at Saline County Aging Services, re-advertise Highway Superintendent informed the Commissioners that money was received for scrap tire cleanup and Superintendent will attend workshop on grants for infrastructure 11:00 a.m. Bids opened for surplus marble.
