REQUEST FOR BIDS The City of Friend, Nebraska is requesting bids for remediation of the following nuisance property described as: Friend City C.E. Friend’s First Addition of Lot 11 & all of Lot 12 (503 South Cherry Street), Friend, Nebraska. The work to be completed is as follows: 1. Removal of all volunteer trees and brush located on or near sidewalks, streets, or fencelines. 2. Disposal of all trash or other waste visible from the exterior of the property. 3. Identification and retention of a professional laboratory service to collect soil samples and other appropriate testing. 4. Implementation all advised remedial measures for elimination of the odor emanating from the property, including but not limited to removal of contaminated soil and replacement with sufficient clean soil and other treatments to neutralize the odor emanating from the property from animal decay and waste. 5. Addressing any standing water or other areas where water pools and provide sufficient treatment of your yard for mosquitoes.
