Patti Lynn Combs was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Friend, to Stan and Miriam (Frankforter) Weber and passed away Sept. 13, 2023, in Friend at the age of 65 years.
As a young girl, she attended and graduated from Friend Public School. She was united in marriage to Jeff Combs in 1975 at the Friend Methodist Church, and to this union, two sons were born, Travis and Paul. Patti kept busy working a variety of jobs. In 1980, she worked at Johnson’s Pharmacy until 1985, Dr. George from 1985-1988, a secretary for the Friend Medical Center from 1988-2012 and Citizen’s Bank from 2013-2022. Patti was skilled in crafts, had a knack for gardening and was talented in woodworking. She loved to keep up with her kids and grandchildren. One of her favorite pasttimes were to watch her kids and grandkids play at ball games. Patti enjoyed the lake life, and visiting the Lake of the Ozarks with her family brought her great joy.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Combs, Friend; children, Travis (Heidi) Combs, York, and Paul (Kylie) Combs, Russellville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Cori Jo Combs, Kearney, Kynli Combs, York, Kain Combs; Easton Combs, Russellville, and Emmy Belle Combs; sister, Judy (Mark) Lafferty, Lincoln; and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patti was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam, and father, Stan Weber; sister, Jan Wellman; sister-in-law, Brenda Combs; and brother-in-law John Combs.
A Celebration of Life was Sept. 18 at the United Methodist Church in Friend. A private family inurnment ceremony will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested in care of the family for a later designation. Arrangements by Lauber Funeral and Cremation Services.
