Ken Allen Weber was born April 17, 1959, in Friend, to Warren and Mary (Roush) Weber and passed away March 12, 2025.

He was raised on a farm north of Friend, where he grew up and graduated from Friend High School with the class of 1977. Ken's love for agriculture was deeply ingrained in him from a young age, leading him to work in various roles within the industry, including Weber Ag Inc., Walker Manufacturing and Jerry'co Motors. He further honed his skills at Southeast Community College, Lincoln, graduating with distinction in Motorcycle Technology in 1984.

Ken's hobbies were as diverse and endearing as his character. He had a penchant for Chevy Camaros, his joy for which was only matched by his love for motorcycles and travel. But above all, Ken's greatest passion was for his dogs, whom he loved and cared for as his own, often taking them along on camping trips.

After a hip injury, Ken found solace in gardening and mowing for himself and others, while also cutting and splitting wood. His helpful nature was a testament to his big heart, always ready to assist his family with his mechanical abilities.

He is survived by his brother, Les (Nancy) Weber, Friend; sisters, Marcia Gavin, Friend, and Debra (Dean) McCarville, Rogers, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Thad and Megan Weber, Tara Perkins, Patrick Weber, Jamie and Dan Albers, James and Theresa Gavin; 13 great-nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary (Roush) Weber; brother, Douglas Kent Weber; and grandparents, George and Hilma Weber, Charles and Alvina Roush.

The memorial service for Ken will be Saturday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m. at the Friend United Methodist Church, followed by inurnment at the Andrew Cemetery, Friend. Memorial contributions are suggested to the SPCA and the York Adopt a Pet.
