FRIEND CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MAY 19, 2025 Mayor Knoke called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 p.m Councilmembers were present: Kristen Milton, Phyllis Schwab, and David Sladek. Jeremy Collier absent. Mayor Knoke led the pledge of Allegiance. As required by the Nebraska Open Meetings Act, Mayor Knoke announced that a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act has been posted on the south door of the City Hall meeting room. Motion made, seconded, and passed unanimously for the following: to approve matching State of Nebraska policy for employee paid sick and vacation time effective June 1, 2025. to enter executive session to discuss personnel at 9:10 pm. to exit executive session at 9:25 pm. to adjourn Jason Combs, Aubrie Lawrence, and Craig Bennett for Miller & Associates presented for the second meeting of the Comprehensive Plan.
