FRIEND CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 9, 2025 Mayor Knoke called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 6:15 p.m Councilmembers were present: Kristen Milton, Phyllis Schwab, David Sladek, and Jeremy Collier absent. Mayor Knoke arrived at 6:35pm. Mayor Knoke led the pledge of Allegiance. As required by the Nebraska Open Meetings Act, Mayor Knoke announced that a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act has been posted on the south door of the City Hall meeting room. Motion made, seconded, and passed unanimously for the following: to approve Farmers COOP Subdivision to adjourn Motion made, seconded, and passed 3 ayes 1 nay for the following: to approve City accepting LIGHT proposal offering health insurance coverage paying 100% of premium for employees, spouse, children, and family members.
