Proposals must be signed and submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT DIVISION 5. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Saline County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Saline County Board of Commissioners and the Gage County Board of Supervisors. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 60 calendar days for completion of the work at each site. The required completion date for all sites is November 1, 2026. The Saline County Board of County Commissioners and the Gage County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of “Competitive Bidding; Consideration”, COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq. The Saline County Board of Commissioners and the Gage County Board of Supervisors will, at their discretion, award the contract based on the lowest or best bid.
