He was also a member of the co-op elevator in Friend, as well as being one of the founders of the Friend Country Club Association. He was a former member of the Friend Grange #390. Allan enjoyed hunting pheasants and attending his grandchildren’s ball games.
Allan was a fan of the Husker men’s basketball team. Allan farmed with his dad and his sons. He enjoyed dancing, especially polka music and country western music. Allan was always ready to try new things. He put down the first irrigation well in the neighborhood.
