Roger Semler was born Oct. 14, 1946, to Bob and Dorothy Semler and passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 75. He attended Dorchester Public School, graduating in 1968. He then served in the U.S. Army (1966-1968) and returned to his lifelong career – farming – and playing in the dirt in the Friend and Dorchester area.
Survivors include his son, Doug, and Jessica Semler; grandchildren, Mason and Tristen; daughter, Carissa Rumph; grandchildren, Kaleb and Kasen; and sister, Nancy and Lee Quirus and family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendra Semler, in 1999 and his parents.
