Donald and Linda Ahola, of Crete, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this week.
They were married June 16, 1972, in Marysville, Kansas.
Their family members include children; Cindy Ahola (spouse, Michael McDermand), of San Jose, California; Christina Richardson (spouse, Gene Richardson), of Crete; and Jason Ahola (spouse: Michelle Ahola), of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
To celebrate, there will be an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Hotel Wilber, in Wilber, with food, drinks and live music.
