Barb Vales of Swanton will celebrate her 80th birthday this week.
She was born Aug. 31, 1944, at Tobias.
Family members include her husband of 58 years, John Vales; children, Mike (Becky) of DeWitt, Lee (Julie) of Lincoln, and Amy Vales (Rob Sterkel) of Sidney; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
